Mehrdad M. Forghani D.O.
Dr. Michael Mehrdad Forghani received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Cal State University Fullerton and then attended Midwestern University in Illinois, graduating in the top 10% of his class with a doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine (D.O.). He went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago in 2001. Since then, he has been in private practice in Southern California and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). He is assistant clinical professor at both Western University in Pomona and faculty in the Department of Family Medicine at UCI Medical Center, teaching students and residents alike. In addition, he serves as a teaching faculty in Women’s Health at the West Anaheim Medical Center Internal Medicine residency program. He has served in medical missions to underserved regions in Latin America and is a regular contributor to the Foundation for Primary Immunodeficiency Disease (FPID).
Dr. Forghani’s mission is provide women of all ages with effective, minimally invasive, and advanced surgical solutions. His office practice is focused on preventive gynecologic care, family planning, and fertility services. He also attends to both routine and high risk pregnancies.
The newest addition to Dr. Forghani’s practice is TopDerm Aesthetics, a MedSpa which provides state-of-the-art aesthetic services at the Garden Grove location. The number one goal of TopDerm Aesthetics is to help make patients and clients feel confident in their bodies in every possible way.
Mehrdad Forghani-Arani, D.O. graduated from Midwestern University in 1997 as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with a specialty in Obstetrics & Gynecology and completed his residency at Cook County Hospital in 2001. He has been in private practice in Chicago since 2002, and in California since 2004. His mission is to provide women of all ages with up-to-date, advanced surgical techniques, and minimally invasive solutions. Mehrdad Forghani-Arani, D.O. also handles both routine and high-risk pregnancies. One of his great joys is in helping women start building their families.
